Radio-station control panel
Thermo stable fireman helmet, fit out with control panel of radio-station,
is intended for protection from defeated factors in putting out fire and
carrying out two-way radio communication.
Control panel can be used with outer radio-stations and give
opportunity to carry out two-way communication in the simplex radio net.
It provides:
- the opportunity to insert control panel into fire-proof helmet;
- hand-free work with fire barrel, tools, etc.;
- protection of radio-station itself from weather, mechanical and thermo
effects;
- using it in the open position under, outside protective overall as well as
in a pocket of coat and overall;
- opportunity to communicate in a mask of respiratory system;
- opportunity to communicate in heat-reflective costumes HRC-200, HC-800 as
well as in protective costumes of isolated type TRELLERBORG;
- control of receiving and transmission by one hand ( if necessary by
shoulder);
- opportunity to keep acoustic orientation of the operator in the vacuum in
duty-receiver regime in condition of noise suppression of radio-station;
- protection from outer acoustic noises in transmission;
- opportunity to repair costume in its exploitation.

Switching radio-station from “receive” to “transmission” is
accomplished with a left hand by pressing the key (tangent) that is on the outer
surface of the helmet. Pressure of the key can be realized without taking off
mittens, by open palm. In this case extra isolation of the microphone and
telephone from outer noises can be accomplished and lines get better.
Switching of radio station from “transmission” to receiver” is realized
with putting down tangent.
Helmet with control panel doesn’t require any extra working out of the mask
or any special placing of the microphone. Adapters for different types of
radio stations can be replaced in case of putting into operation.
